What it costs
One small membership, and postage when you send
Membership covers everything in the app: unlimited swaps, your wishlist and your shelf. Postage is separate, and the person sending a book pays it.
Receiving a book costs nothing extra. Labels are bought in the app at bulk rates, and you drop parcels at a post office or parcel shop.
Why not a library?
Because the book is yours
Libraries are wonderful. But on Blurby there's no waiting list, no due date and no fine for reading slowly.
Write in the margins. Lend it to a friend. Keep it forever, or pass it on when you're ready.

Who it's for
Book nerds who like it old school
Paper over pixels
The smell of a secondhand paperback, a cracked spine, someone else's bus ticket as a bookmark.
Shelves that breathe
Keep the favourites. Everything you've finished with goes to a reader who's been waiting for it.
Cosy evenings
A new book on the doormat, a pot of tea, and nowhere to be. Follow readers whose shelves you like.
Our shipping promise
Every member posts within 5 days, with proof of postage
You earn credits once your book is posted: 2 within 5 days, 1 after that. Members who keep missing the deadline lose swapping. Every swap is rated on condition and speed.
